SMARTsaa offer complete range of IR Proximity Sensors for detection of any opaque object by non-contact way.

IR Proximity Sensor finds applications in almost every industry where high sensing range, miniature construction is required. The special modulated beam makes it immune for use in industrial atmosphere. Switches with fiber optic cable are offered to sense miniature components like tablet, print mark, pouches and caps.

IR Proximity Sensors are exclusively used in SPM and Pharmaceutical machinery to sense tablets and capsules. They also find application in heavy industries like crane to sense position and to avoid collision. SMARTsaa also provides Anti-collision switch for cranes to avoid collision.

Three types of IR Proximity Sensors: 1) Diffuse type 2) Retro-Reflective type 3) Through Beam type.

Diffuse models are available having sensing distance up to 5 Meters. Retro reflective switches with mirror are offered up to 10 Meters range. Through beam sensors are available up to 50 Meter range.

Models with built in termination chamber, universal supply (AC as well as DC) and potential free relay contact output are also available.  Models with teach function, back ground suppression are developed to sense change in color or to sense parts on shiny surface.

Print mark sensors are offered with high response speed so as to detect pouch traveling at high speed.

This is a fixed focused type of switch. Transmitter and receiver enclosed in one housing. Transmitted beam strikes on the object (when the object enters the sensing range ) and gets reflected by object surface. Receiver detects these rays and output signal is produced.
